Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Science Solutions Technician to join our team at Intertek. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting site reviews of work-in-progress construction on commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform site reviews of installed building envelope components and assemblies to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Conduct field testing of building envelope components to verify compliance with project specifications.
  • Provide detailed written reports for all site reviews and testing.
  • Manage punch lists for ongoing projects and maintain confidentiality of client information.
  • Assist with laboratory testing of building envelope products.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of related experience and/or commercial construction experience.
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
  • Technical knowledge of building construction and building envelope systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
