About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a physician to work in a team-based care environment, providing primary care and addictions services to vulnerable populations. The Comox Valley Nursing Centre is a service within Island Health's Primary Care portfolio, and we believe in partnerships between clients, family, and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide primary care and addictions services to patients in the Comox Valley region
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, social workers, and administrative staff
• Develop and implement care plans for patients with addictions
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
