Job Summary

As a Stock Unloader Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our retail stores. This position involves unloading trailers, processing merchandise, and moving pallets to the sales floor, all while maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Receiving and Processing: Unload trailers and sort general merchandise, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  2. Inventory Management: Complete live unloading of all remaining merchandise, maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring stockroom organization.
  3. Cold Chain Maintenance: Maintain the cold chain for refrigerated and frozen receiving and stocking, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  4. Stockroom Operations: Pull pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing, and assist in stocking the sales floor as assigned.
  5. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues.
  6. Housekeeping and Safety: Contribute to a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
