Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber Assistant to join our team at PRO TOUCH PLUMBING AND HEATING LTD. As a Plumber Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our plumbers in various tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our plumbing services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Transport Materials: Assist plumbers in loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Clean-up and Maintenance: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Tool and Equipment Management: Assist plumbers in moving tools, equipment, and other materials as needed.
  • Estimation and Planning: Assist in estimating costs and determining piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
  • Site Preparation: Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks, repetitive movements, and handling of heavy loads.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in confined spaces, dusty environments, and cold/refrigerated conditions.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with overtime required as needed.
