Job Title: Fresh N Good Associate

At Otter Co-op, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Fresh N Good Associate. This is a part-time position based at our Parallel Food Store in Abbotsford, BC.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a team player who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest quality of food products. As a Fresh N Good Associate, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of a wide variety of products, including sandwiches, baked goods, and confectionery. You will also be responsible for delivering products to our Gas Bars and Pubs throughout the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation of food products, including slicing, weighing, and packaging.
  • Deliver products to our Gas Bars and Pubs, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to questions and requests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Recommend and sell food products to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a deli, kitchen, or food prep environment.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and operate equipment, such as meat and cheese slicers.
  • Excellent communication and math skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
