Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our team at Method Automation Services Inc. as an Application Developer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Software Applications
    • Design, code, test, and implement software solutions using Agile development methods
    • Collaborate with customers, business analysts, and development team members to understand business requirements
    • Provide innovative solutions to business needs
  • Support and Troubleshoot Software
    • Follow best practices to analyze, design, code, test, and implement application solutions with minimal oversight
    • Communicate effectively with team members, customers, partners, and management
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
    • Work with customers, business analysts, and development team members to understand business requirements
    • Collaborate with vendors to escalate and resolve issues
  • Document and Communicate Technical Information
    • Create accurate and concise documentation, such as design, configuration, and installation specifications
    • Communicate technical information to team members, customers, partners, and management
Requirements
  • Work Experience
    • Junior: minimum 1-3 years' experience
    • Mid-level: minimum 3-7 years' experience
    • Senior: minimum 7+ years' experience
  • Technical Skills
    • Experience with K2 blackpearl, K2 SmartForms,.NET framework using C#, C/C++, Python, JavaScript, Ajax, MVC, SQL Server, ASP.Net, CSS, HTML5, Visual Studio, XML, SQL, SSRS, SharePoint, Azure, Amazon Web Services
    • Experience with Agile software development and/or hybrid waterfall/Agile development
    • Experience troubleshooting and supporting software in a Windows/.NET environment
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional Experience
    • Experience working with vendors to escalate and resolve issues
    • Experience leading discovery sessions with clients to understand current processes, identify needs/wants/pain points, and translate into requirements
    • Certifications related to technologies named above
