Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex medical needs, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver holistic, patient-centered care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, interventions, and documentation to ensure accurate and timely care.
  • Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
  • Active Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
  • Experience working with intravenous infusions, direct IV medication administration, phlebotomy, and critical care knowledge are assets.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a similar role or setting.
  • Knowledge of addiction and mental health principles and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
