Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Grants Consultant to join our team in Montreal. As a Grants Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our business development efforts by assessing proposed projects and investments, matching clients with funding programs, and researching government programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess proposed projects and investments to identify opportunities for business growth
  • Match clients with funding programs and present options to clients
  • Research and understand government programs, including grant database development and maintenance
  • Write grant applications and prepare presentations and executive summaries
  • Research new prospective clients and prepare sample grant eligibility
  • Support clients with government queries and provide project tracking and compliance reporting

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources, Commerce, Finance, or Economics
  • 2-3 years of experience interacting with government funding agencies or relevant experience
  • Experience with hiring, training, and R&D grants is an asset
  • Exposure to operations, finance, and innovation, and human resources performance is an asset
