We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Night Clerk Supervisor to join our team at Wyndham Fallsview. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and guest services during evening hours.
Key Responsibilities- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments: Collaborate with our housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Establish work schedules and procedures: Develop and implement efficient schedules and procedures to maximize productivity and guest satisfaction.
- Perform same duties as workers supervised: Demonstrate a strong understanding of our hotel's policies and procedures, and be able to perform tasks such as checking guests in and out, handling room assignments, and resolving guest complaints.
- Prepare and submit reports: Accurately record and report on guest interactions, room status, and other relevant information to ensure data-driven decision making.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality: Analyze and resolve issues that may impact guest satisfaction or hotel operations, and provide guidance to team members to improve performance.
- Assist clients/guests with special needs: Provide exceptional customer service to guests with special requirements, such as mobility or dietary needs.
- Co-ordinate, assign and review work: Effectively manage the workload of our front desk team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies: Recruit, train, and develop our front desk team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
- Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery: Ensure that all technology and equipment are functioning correctly, and arrange for repairs or maintenance as needed.
- Requisition materials and supplies: Order and manage the inventory of essential supplies and materials to ensure that our front desk team has everything they need to operate effectively.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
- Language: English.
- Hours of work: 40 hours per week.
