- A minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.

As a Solutions Architect (SA), you will collaborate with clients, AWS Sales, and various AWS teams to design highly scalable, adaptable, and resilient cloud architectures that resolve customer business challenges and promote the adoption of AWS services. In partnership with the sales team, you will drive revenue growth across a diverse range of clients. Acting as a trusted advocate for customers, you will guide organizations in understanding best practices related to advanced cloud-based solutions. You should proactively identify opportunities to shape and implement strategies that enhance mindshare and expand the utilization of the AWS platform within the client's organization. A strategic mindset regarding business, products, and technical challenges is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish strong relationships with clients to become a trusted advisor for their critical workloads that facilitate their digital transformation and cloud journey.
- Assist in achieving revenue targets through the adoption and migration of applications, software, and services to the AWS platform, in collaboration with the sales team.
- Educate clients on the value of AWS and engage in in-depth architectural discussions to ensure solutions are effectively designed for cloud deployment.
- Contribute to AWS internal and customer-facing publications, such as white papers and blogs, to scale your expertise.
- Serve as a liaison between clients, service engineering teams, and support to address customer requirements.
Travel Expectations:
- Willingness to travel within the city or province and up to 25% out of province as needed for client meetings.
- AWS training during the onboarding process may require travel to the USA for up to 5 consecutive days.
