Cabinetmaker's Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Cabinetmaker's Helper at MAPLE FURNITURE. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop.
Key Responsibilities- Load, unload, and transport construction materials with precision and care.
- Measure weights to prepare for rigging and hoisting, ensuring accurate calculations and safe lifting practices.
- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt with attention to detail and quality control.
- Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
- Perform routine maintenance work, identifying and addressing potential issues before they become major problems.
- Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Assist skilled tradespersons, providing support and learning opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
