Position Overview
The successful candidate will oversee the comprehensive management and execution of daily, monthly, and annual volumetric and production accounting reporting activities for the NGL facility. This role requires close collaboration with NGL operations and commercial teams, necessitating a thorough understanding of the NGL business unit to ensure precise volumetric and production accounting reports.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee volumetric calculations, facility balancing, and production reporting, including quality assessments for various facilities.
• Create systems for data mining, trend analysis, and dashboards to identify measurement discrepancies and collaborate with operations for resolution.
• Review and approve volumetric calculations and production reporting to ensure quality assurance.
• Support the annual Enhanced Production Audit Program submissions.
• Ensure accurate reporting of facility production volumes to regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare annual submissions for Production Reporting and Accounting Manuals.
• Assist in environmental air reporting through the collection and analysis of required data.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and SOX directives.
• Participate in audits by corporate, regulatory, and industry groups, providing necessary data and explanations.
• Collaborate with IT to address software issues and system upgrades.
• Lead IT projects related to volumetric software, ensuring all business requirements are met.
• Maintain and enhance documentation and procedures for volumetric management systems.
Qualifications
• 5 to 10 years of experience in volumetric or production accounting, with at least 2 years in midstream or downstream operations.
• Familiarity with AER Directive 17 and API/GPA measurement standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in data analysis and Excel.
• Experience with automated reporting tools such as Power-Bi is an asset.
• Knowledge of field-level measurement practices.
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. This position is classified as security sensitive, and employment will be contingent upon successful completion of background checks.
