Job Summary:

The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the painting projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of painters and decorators to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines.
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure that team members have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on all projects.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Work with minimal supervision to make decisions and take actions as required.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams and completing projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly.
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles are required.
Working Conditions:
  • Work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Personal Suitability:
  • Organized and reliable.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Values and ethics are essential.
  • Punctuality is a must.
