As a Facility Operations Specialist at Black & McDonald, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the effective management of facilities in the Saskatoon region. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the operational integrity, safety, and upkeep of the designated properties, fostering a secure and efficient environment for all users. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Strategizing and implementing maintenance schedules
  • Collaborating with external contractors
  • Addressing tenant inquiries and issues
  • Executing various repair and maintenance tasks
  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with clients and vendors
  • Contributing to quality assurance initiatives
  • Compiling and presenting progress documentation
  • Supporting procurement processes

Qualifications:

  • Valid Fireman Boiler Operator Certification
  • Proven experience in facility management
  • Familiarity with building automation and HVAC systems

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong communication abilities
  • Capability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Valid Class 5 AB Driver's License
