Job Summary

This position is located in the Office of Budget and Performance Management at the DC Department of Human Resources. The incumbent in this position provides a variety of program analysis functions and conducts studies of programs within an assigned organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gathers and organizes information from various sources, including records, computer files, previous studies, and interviews.
  • Analyses information to identify issues and isolate problems.
  • Develops solutions and measurements of productivity and effectiveness for use by others.
  • Develops detailed briefings and reports of findings and recommendations.
  • Convinces others to implement recommendations.
Deliverables
  • Organizes and delivers briefings to present findings, solutions, and recommendations to managers.
  • Prepares option papers and similar staff reports.
Requirements
  • At least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the CS-09 grade level, or its non-District equivalent gained in the private or public sector.
  • Specialized experience includes planning, organizing, coordinating, supervising, or evaluating community, industrial, outdoor, institutional, or other recreational programs.
Working Conditions

The work is sedentary and primarily in an office setting. The work may involve visits to work sites.

  • The work may require working evenings and weekends.
  • This position has been designated as security sensitive.
