We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Installing and relocating research and process equipment, including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and plumbing systems.
- Performing diagnostics and repairs on process and research equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Aiding in analytical troubleshooting to detect irregularities in equipment and provide quick solutions.
- Providing corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance on research and industrial equipment in a lab and/or production environment.
- Updating maintenance records in CMMS and other information systems throughout the facility.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Post-Secondary Education Diploma from a Mechanical or Electrical trade program or engineering technician program.
- Post-Secondary Trades certification with a minimum of 3 years experience in a regulated environment.
- Knowledge of Standard Operating/Work Procedures as part of the principles of Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and team skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
