Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in both the methodology and the results of conceptualizing and detailing the overall framework, logical components, and interconnections of a computing system, its operating system, a network, or other conceptual models.
- Establish the architecture and relationships among applications, which includes identifying reusable components, quality metrics, software organization and layering, as well as defining interfaces.
- Design, implement, and oversee at least one cross-platform application within a large-scale distributed environment, while monitoring the entire system, comprehending all interactions between components at a specified level of abstraction, and defining limitations and requirements for source code.
- Clarify the interactions among application packages, databases, and middleware systems.
Essential Skills:
- Comprehensive understanding of Enterprise architecture, including general and industry-specific data modeling standards, various data types, process and object modeling, applications, frameworks, database technologies, data warehousing, knowledge management, and data security management.
- Proficient knowledge and experience in the OPS Enterprise Architecture end-to-end process, functioning as both a Solution Architect and Change Application Architect.
- Extensive experience in crafting high-quality Enterprise Architecture governance artifacts, collaborating with key stakeholders to address concerns from governance bodies and mitigate potential risks.
- Proven experience in leading governance activities, including Threat and Risk Assessment (TRA) and Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA), while successfully obtaining Architecture Governance Point approvals.
- Technical expertise and experience with Microsoft Power Platform-based business solutions utilizing Model Driven Application development, Power Automate, Microsoft Azure Cloud Services, Azure AD, Microsoft Azure Storage, Microsoft Azure DevOps, and other Azure technologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to consult and clarify needs, present information, options, and recommendations, and explain technical concepts and terminology to peers, clients, and stakeholders.
General Skills:
- Experience in the development and implementation of application architectures at the required experience level.
- Broad experience with at least two different computing platforms, operating systems, environments, database technologies, programming languages, and communication protocols.
- Familiarity with middleware and gateways, along with knowledge of performance considerations in diverse environments.
- Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, and implementation of applications.
- Extensive background in systems analysis and design within large systems environments.
- Proficient in the use of development tools, Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools, and other software tools such as project management software.
- Experience in producing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g., models).
- Awareness of emerging Information and Information Technology trends and directions.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- A collaborative team player with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge and understanding of object-oriented analysis and design techniques.
- Experience in crafting detailed functional and technical requirements for new and existing business solutions.
- Experience in leading multi-tier application infrastructure design, documentation, and configuration for medium or large corporate implementations.
- Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g., models and documentation).
