Union rates apply, and all benefits are administered through the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 115.
Compensation Details
- Hourly wage: $38 to $45 based on position, experience, and qualifications.
- Vacation pay: 13% of your hourly wage.
- Benefits eligibility: After completing 250 hours of work.
- Pension contributions: $4.80 per hour worked.

Role Responsibilities
The Foreperson is responsible for managing the workforce, ensuring projects are completed on time. This role includes enforcing site regulations and monitoring work quality. The Foreperson will also engage with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, maintaining equipment, and managing documentation, while also working alongside the crew on-site.
The Superintendent oversees all project management aspects across multiple sites, including planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves monitoring staff and subcontractors to ensure efficient, effective, and safe operations. A strong commitment to workplace health and safety is essential, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in civil construction.
- At least 5 years of experience in site management.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with equipment and machinery used on construction sites.
