IT Training Specialist

Job Summary
The Government of Nunavut is seeking a highly skilled Systems Development Training Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Financial Systems Development department, you will be responsible for identifying and analyzing training needs, developing and implementing training programs, and ensuring that users from various departments and agencies receive the necessary training to perform their duties effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs for users of the Government of Nunavut's human resources and financial information systems
- Support the introduction of new and modified systems, including preparing user resources and communicating with users
- Provide assessment, evaluation, and follow-up services to ensure that users are proficient in using the systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and develop training programs that meet those needs
- Contribute to the development of user training materials, including user guides, quick reference guides, and online tutorials
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in an IT or related field from a recognized institution
- Two (2) years of adult training experience
- Fluency in English and French, with knowledge of Inuktut an asset
- Experience working in a northern cross-cultural environment an asset
