Educational Requirements

Work Environment

The position is based in a fast-paced restaurant setting, requiring adaptability and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess food portion sizes and associated costs.
  • Design menus and calculate necessary food quantities for preparation.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes.
  • Accommodate customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
  • Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas to ensure compliance with health standards.
  • Manage inventory by ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Oversee kitchen staff and assist in their training.
  • Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and workspaces.
  • Oversee overall kitchen operations.
