About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team in Vancouver. As a key member of our Transit Architecture Studio, you will be responsible for leading and managing large, complex projects and project teams. Your expertise in creating and developing fundamental design principles will guide projects from conception to completion.

As a Senior Architect, you will collaborate with practice leaders and colleagues to enhance our studio's culture for design excellence. You will also assist with preparing Business Development proposals and developing one-year, two-year, and three-year business plans with Transit practice leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage large, complex projects and project teams
  • Contribute to the development of fundamental design principles
  • Collaborate with practice leaders and colleagues to enhance design excellence
  • Assist with Business Development proposals and business planning
  • Establish a transit-focused design practice in Vancouver
  • Develop and lead a studio of transit professionals

Requirements:

  • Minimum University Degree in Architecture
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in an architectural studio
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in leading project teams and managing large, complex interdisciplinary projects
  • Experience with Transit or P3 public-facing projects preferred
  • AIBC Registered Architect or Intern Architect
  • Portfolio in PDF or Weblink along with a Cover Letter is expected with your application
