We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to join our Financial Crimes team in Montreal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading anti-fraud projects and providing expert advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the management and execution of anti-fraud projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Lead a team of financial crime consultants, providing guidance and support to ensure the team's deliverables meet KPMG's standards of excellence and client expectations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on financial crimes advisory, providing services in compliance with best practices, legal requirements, and the firm's standards of excellence.
  • Supervise and train team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Act as a point of contact with clients, strengthening existing relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Provide sound advice on fraud governance strategy, adapting it to the needs of clients and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the lines of defense in deploying fraud programs, assessing fraud risks across the organization, and helping clients reduce their risk exposure.
  • Assist clients in various risk management engagements, including identifying risk appetite, processes, and controls to ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the deployment of new technologies in fraud and lead proposals, ensuring the team stays up-to-date with emerging trends and risks.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience in the fight against fraud, with a strong background in financial crimes advisory.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, criminology, finance, business, or a related field.
  • CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), ACFCS (Certified Financial Crimes Specialist) certifications or equivalent designations are considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of the IT environment of the financial sector and the solutions available on the market for authentication and fraud detection.
  • Understanding of financial products and services from banking, insurance, asset management, and brokerage.
  • Excellent French verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to produce concise and structured presentations and reports.
  • Willingness to contribute to internal development activities and business development.
  • Customer-oriented, with the ability to understand client issues and propose value-added solutions.
  • Comfortable with teamwork, coaching, and relationship building.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and manage projects, resources, and budgets effectively.
  • Autonomous, with a sense of initiative and priorities.
  • Demonstrate great rigor and attention to details.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills to describe complex subjects.
  • Good computer skills (Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint).
