Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our housekeeping team as a Room Attendant at New Castle Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guestrooms, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Clean and Attractive Guestrooms - Ensure guestrooms meet or exceed hotel standards by making beds, changing linens, cleaning, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming.
  • Focus on Details - Ensure windows are shining, towels are folded correctly, supplies are restocked, closets are neat and clean with the right amount of hangers, etc.
  • Be Organized - Ensure your housekeeping closet and cart area are ready to go.
  • Be a Team Player - Help your coworkers by pitching in, training new staff, participating in department events.
  • Be a Housekeeping Ambassador - Share a warm greeting and a smile with all guests you encounter.
  • Be a Safety & Security Agent - Follow hotel safety and security policies and procedures, anticipate problems, and call management as needed.

Requirements

  • Basic English Communication Skills - Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
  • Medium Work - Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Physical Abilities - Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body and arms, work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
  • Visual Abilities - Ability to see details at close range.
  • Ability to Stand for Long Periods - Ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting or leaning.
  • Ability to Multi Task - Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
