Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer II to join our team. As a Site Reliability Engineer II, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and reliability of our platforms and applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for applications and systems, including incident management, problem resolution, and performance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology strategies.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and contribute to the development of repeatable processes to prevent future performance-related incidents.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve platform performance and reliability.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer or equivalent role, with a strong background in performance engineering, system administration, and technical operations.
  • Proven experience in managing teams of SMEs, ensuring platform stability, scalability, and reliability.
  • Expertise in performance testing tools, such as JMeter/LR, and APM/Log analysis tools, including Dynatrace, Datadog, and Splunk.
  • Strong understanding of thread dumps, heap dumps, and database analysis.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
