Truck Driver Job Description

Gora Jaimal Wala Transport Ltd. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Drive as part of a team or convoy, ensuring timely delivery of goods to our customers.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods at designated locations, adhering to safety protocols and company procedures.
  • Permits and Documentation: Obtain necessary permits for international transport, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform brake adjustments and roadside repairs, ensuring the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with central dispatch, providing updates on delivery status and any issues encountered.
  • Record Keeping: Record cargo information and fuel consumption, contributing to the company's operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid Driver's License, required for this role.
  • Documentation Knowledge: Familiarity with Driver logbook procedures.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Hold a valid driver's license, essential for this position.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Utilize steel-toed safety boots, adhering to company safety standards.
