Luma Pictures is seeking a Senior Matchmove Artist to join our dynamic team in Vancouver.

Important Note: All roles are designed for remote work. Applicants must currently reside in British Columbia, Canada, and possess the legal right to work in Canada.

Your Responsibilities -
  • Create tracked cameras and virtual environments from photographic plates.
  • Matchmove characters and objects utilizing provided rigs.
  • Collaborate with animation and modeling teams to ensure precise camera alignment.
Your Qualifications -
  • A minimum of two to three years of experience in tracking within a production environment.
  • Proficient understanding of fundamental 3D concepts: rotation, translation, scale, and gimbal lock.
  • In-depth knowledge of 3D camera principles, including lenses, distortion, and parallax.
  • Expertise in Maya and familiarity with one or more camera tracking software packages (such as Syntheyes, 3DEqualizer, PFTrack, etc.).
  • A collaborative spirit with a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
