Body Repair Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Autobody Technician to join our team at CarrXpert Port Hawkesbury Collision Centre.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely repair of automotive body damage caused by collision, weather, and other incidents.
Key Responsibilities- Repair vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards.
- Check parts against estimate and ensure proper parts are ordered and received.
- Prepare vehicles for body repair work.
- Notify management of any additional repairs needed that are not indicated on the work order.
- Notify management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time.
- Maintain tools and equipment in a proper state of repair, inform management of any items in disrepair and participate in remedial action.
- Maintain and wear all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer and in conjunction with SOPs and policies.
- Cooperate and assist other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles.
- Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Journeyman Certificate or Apprenticeship (not required, but an asset).
- An interest in automotive body and/or mechanical repair is considered an asset.
- Self-motivated with ability to deliver results.
- Valid driver's license.
