Position Overview:

The role of Senior Specialist, Decision Analytics is pivotal within our Analytics team, which is dedicated to leveraging insights and innovation to drive growth in a rapidly evolving market.

The CBS Analytics division focuses on high-impact business cases with significant potential for scalability. This position will spearhead CBS Analytics projects, conceptualizing and developing predictive models, simulations, and optimization solutions aimed at achieving measurable financial objectives. The role encompasses various projects, including Revenue Growth Management, Market Effectiveness, and Forecasting, necessitating independent relationship management with business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead analytics initiatives within the Analytics Continuum.
  • Design and implement predictive modeling, simulations, and optimization strategies to address critical business challenges.
  • Utilize machine learning and artificial intelligence to enhance analytics algorithms, enabling scalable solutions across the organization.
  • Conduct validations and continuous enhancements of models and algorithms.

Data Integration and Visualization:

  • Extract insights from diverse internal and external data sources.
  • Compile and manage complex data sets to meet both functional and non-functional business requirements.
  • Create data visualization tools to support business analytics and informed decision-making.

Collaboration and Innovation:

  • Engage closely with division analytics team leaders and cross-functional data specialists to drive data solutions.
  • Identify and implement new algorithms and process improvements, focusing on automation and scalability.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in data modeling and insights generation.
  • Proficient in developing statistical models, including regression techniques and clustering methods.
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, and PySpark.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Experience in client-facing roles, collaborating with multi-functional teams in dynamic settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with third-party data sources, including syndicated market data.
  • Understanding of the consumer packaged goods sector.
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their practical applications.
  • Ability to visualize and present data effectively using various tools.
  • Willingness to explore new tools and methodologies.
  • Strong project management and facilitation skills.
