About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as a Household Assistant at M & D - Private Household. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our private residence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls and ceilings.
  • Organization and Administration: Maintain the organization and tidiness of the household, ensure that all areas are clean and free of clutter, manage household supplies and linens, perform administrative tasks as required.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with household members and staff, work collaboratively as part of a team, maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home, private residence.
  • Transportation: Public transportation available.
