About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Assembler Level II to join our team at Hillmar Industries Ltd. as a Hydraulic and Electrical Assembly Specialist. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing hydraulic and electrical systems, ensuring high-quality products that meet our company's standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Testing: Assemble and test hydraulic and electrical systems, ensuring all components are properly installed and functioning correctly.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on assembled systems to ensure they meet our company's quality standards.
  • Manufacturing Support: Provide support to the manufacturing team by assisting with production planning, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hydraulic and electrical systems, working closely with the engineering team to develop solutions.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers to ensure seamless collaboration and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering) is an asset.
  • Experience: Minimum three to five years of experience in mechanical and electrical assembly, manufacturing, and quality control.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems, assembly and testing procedures, quality control measures, and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Access database management.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
