As a Financial Project Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing and comprehending project-related agreements and subcontractor documentation to ensure alignment with established project setup protocols.
- Gathering, reconciling, obtaining approvals, and processing all financial transactions related to projects, including subcontractor payments, general expenses, and internal payroll allocations, ensuring timely and precise execution to meet all financial obligations.
- Compiling client invoicing packages in accordance with established approval processes to guarantee timely delivery of billings and receipt of payments as per contractual agreements.
- Maintaining precise and timely cash flow records, both current and projected, in comparison to the anticipated cash flow outlined in the financial model (as applicable to the project).
- Supporting the Project Manager in the preparation of monthly reports for stakeholders and internal use.
Are you the ideal candidate for this position?
- You possess a degree in Business Administration or Finance, coupled with 3-6 years of pertinent accounting experience, or an equivalent mix of technical training and experience.
- You have the capability to accurately assess financial scenarios and develop logical solutions to assist a project team or business unit.
- You exhibit strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities, along with a willingness to work independently and on-site at project locations.
- You demonstrate the capacity to perform under pressure and manage tight deadlines effectively.
- Experience in a construction-related environment would be advantageous.
