About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team at Canadian Glass Ltd as a Carpenter Helper. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Site Preparation: Level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring a stable and safe working environment.
  • Task Execution: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work, clean up chemical spills, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Work Environment: Work in various locations, including construction sites, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position, offering 35 hours of work per week.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
