About this opportunity

Ericsson is seeking a highly skilled vDU System Designer to join our team in Networks. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of our virtualized RAN solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the architecture definition and implementation of Cloud Native based vDU, focusing on scalability, resilience, and performance.
  • Participate in system studies for products and features, and contribute to product evolution.
  • Develop and maintain system models and simulation tools for system performance evaluation of 5G RAN systems.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their pain points and future needs.
  • Contribute to the development of roadmaps and strategies for hardware and software platforms.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years' experience in Wireless System architecture/standardization or Cloud Native product architecture/development.
  • At least 3 years of experience in functions related to NR DU or Radio systems.
  • BSc or MSc level in Electrical/Computer Systems engineering or related specialization.
  • Excellent understanding of wireless channel models and L1/L2/L3 algorithms.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Native core design principles is desirable.
