Job Title: Construction Labourer

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Ontario Inc. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the construction process, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and performing routine maintenance work. You will work under the supervision of experienced construction professionals and will be expected to follow all safety protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other construction equipment
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Perform routine maintenance work, including cleaning and repairing equipment
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
