Key Responsibilities- Personal Care: Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Medical Support: Take patients' vital signs, administer medications, and provide basic first aid as needed.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by performing tasks such as making beds, emptying bedpans, and restocking supplies.
- Transportation: Safely transport patients to and from appointments and within the facility.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting or equivalent.
- Certifications: First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
- Language: English language proficiency.
As a Healthcare Assistant with Joyous Healthcare Inc., you will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of patients and healthcare professionals. You will be required to work under pressure, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and stand for extended periods.
