We are currently seeking a student to join our procurement team for the upcoming summer season. As a procurement analyst, you will be involved in planning and optimizing supply chain operations across Eastern Canada using various modes of transportation (marine, rail, pipeline). Responsibilities include developing a deep understanding of the petroleum industry, preparing and distributing supply reports, participating in forecasting and allocation processes, improving processes and tools, supporting administrative tasks, and assisting with regulatory declarations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the petroleum industry and supply chain operations in Eastern Canada
  • Prepare and distribute supply reports on a daily and weekly basis
  • Participate in forecasting and allocation processes to optimize supply chain efficiency
  • Improve processes and tools to enhance quality, reliability, and reduce report preparation time
  • Support administrative tasks related to procurement and supply chain management
  • Assist with regulatory declarations during the summer
  • Provide backup for procurement coordinators during vacations.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a business administration or chemical engineering program
  • French-English bilingualism
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment
