About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Chef Tony. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Ensure all dishes, flatware, and other items are clean and sanitized before use.
    • Wash and sanitize all kitchen equipment and appliances.
    • Keep the kitchen and dining area clean and tidy at all times.
  • Food Preparation
    • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
    • Package take-out food and ensure it is ready for customers.
  • Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Ensure all supplies are properly labeled and stored.
  • General Duties
    • Assist with setting tables and clearing dishes.
    • Perform other duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • Experience an asset.
