We are looking for a proactive individual to take on the role of Project Management Coordinator within the Access Networks Support team. This dynamic position is crucial for ensuring that customer commitments are met through effective coordination and monitoring of essential project components as they transition between the extended Engineering team and Network Implementation. Reporting to the Central ANS Manager, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with System Planners, Network Implementation, and other team members to coordinate and track project progress.
The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional communication skills, be adept at organizing and facilitating efficient project milestone meetings, possess a keen attention to detail, and demonstrate advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
This role is a Full-time Temporary position for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Skills:
Collaborate closely with a diverse team to ensure seamless transfer of project details among various individuals and departments. The Coordinator will document project information in RPATS (Rogers Project and Tracking Software) and Excel. The Coordinator will engage with milestone owners to ensure that schedules are accurate, current, and that recorded project information reflects the project's status. The Coordinator will ensure that all necessary RPATS fields are completed, updated, and that milestones are logically scheduled. The Project Support Coordinator will work directly with Engineering team members to coordinate the delivery of essential project components.
The position will report directly to the ANS Manager with the following principal tasks:
- Monitor and follow up on missing or incorrect project data in RPATS and Excel
- Track and report on project SOIs and committed dates
- Facilitate project milestone meetings
- Act as the central point of contact for all project hand-offs
- Prepare and distribute project reports
- Monitor project financials against budget by recording purchase orders and invoicing
- Track and report on addendum requests
- Serve as the central contact for project issuance and as-built return
- Monitor and record requisitions for material orders
- Track and report on permit expiration dates, in-service dates, and SOI commitments
- Perform other project administrative tasks as required
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a professional environment; experience in project management is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Wireline Networks setting
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, with strong skills in MS Office Word and PowerPoint
- Able to thrive in a collaborative team environment
- Experience with RPATS is a definite advantage.
- Detail-oriented, with a strong emphasis on quality of work.
- Demonstrated exceptional work ethic, self-motivated, and highly driven.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Must be adaptable and willing to take on additional duties as needed.
