Job Title: Business Quality Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Quality Analyst to join our team. As a Business Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for coordinating the testing of medium to large projects using multiple delivery channels across various platforms, configurations, and environments. You will work closely with the development team to decide where to build automated and manual tests, develop test data, construct, and execute exploratory, system, regression, migration, back-end, and user acceptance tests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess individual project needs and work closely with Development, Configuration/Code Management, and environment teams to establish, coordinate, and ensure a stable environment for conducting QA tests.
  • Develop, implement, and document all testing activities, including test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
  • Supervise and coordinate testing for projects/releases, including assessing UAT projects to determine the risk of releasing the code into the current test environment.
  • Design UAT test plans, assign and review test documentation, and balance the need to mitigate risk with the optimal use of testing resources.
  • Work with individual project teams to ensure business and technical requirements have been fulfilled and contribute recommendations and assessments to ongoing project reviews.
Requirements:
  • Extensive understanding of code management, server, and applications layering, environment configuration, and databases.
  • Strong working knowledge of PCs and department-related software.
  • Experience working on agile and waterfall projects in the past and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Detail-oriented approach to project testing.
