Aircraft Wheels Technician

Bombardier's Biggin Hill Service Centre is a leading maintenance and repair facility in the UK, providing top-notch services to business aircraft operators. We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Wheels Technician to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect aircraft components, including wheel assemblies, batteries, and structures.
- Perform maintenance, repair, and overhaul tasks as per supplied documents, manuals, and regulatory instructions.
- Train, coach, and support other employees in their roles.
- Work collaboratively with the team to complete end-to-end component MRO assignments.
- Conduct basic and complex repairs on aircraft components.
- Apply human factors, human performance, and limitations knowledge, as well as EWIS and CDCCL principles when relevant.
- Verify the airworthiness of serviceable components and raise Form 1s as necessary.
- UK CAA & EASA Part 145 MRO experience and a solid technical understanding of aircraft wheels and brakes.
- At least six months of relevant aircraft/component maintenance experience in any consecutive two-year period.
- Current on all training requirements, including recurrent and continuation training.
- Ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings and communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
- High proficiency in using standard tools, special tools, and operating ground support equipment.
- Experience with Service Orders and SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
