Job Description

BMO Financial Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team on a 12-month contract.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software applications by designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies. This will involve reviewing functional and non-functional requirements, creating test cases, and executing tests to identify defects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans and strategies to ensure comprehensive testing of software applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers and business stakeholders, to understand project objectives and testing requirements
  • Design and develop automation frameworks and test cases to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness
  • Identify and escalate risks and issues in a timely manner, and communicate test status and defect metrics to management
  • Support business acceptance and user acceptance testing, and ensure compliance with BMO's testing process and tools

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on automation testing
  • 10 years of experience in SQL database management
  • 10 years of experience in Robot Framework
  • 10 years of experience in the Banking/Financial Industry
