About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at SSK Construction Ltd. as a Construction Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our construction team with various tasks on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site.
  • Mixing and Spreading: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as required.
  • Assisting with Construction: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Demolition: Assist in demolishing buildings as part of the construction process.
  • Cleaning and Piling: Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse.
  • Site Maintenance: Remove rubble and other debris from the construction site.
  • Machinery Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The Construction Laborer will work in a physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment and be flexible with their schedule.

Requirements
  • Experience: Experience in a construction-related field is an asset.
  • Work Schedule: The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week.
  • Language: The primary language of work is English.
