Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Rigger to create 3D character rigs and animation interface controls for skeletal motion systems and body/facial deformations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement 3D character rigs and animation interface controls
  • Collaborate with production, supervisors, and team/peers to problem solve and share information related to show/assigned tasks
  • Meet schedules and show deadlines, participate in dailies, rounds, and team reviews of work in progress
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of applicable software platforms including LINUX, UNIX, Maya, Mudbox, shell, and MEL scripting language, Python is a plus
  • Background or experience in fine art accompanied with a thorough understanding of physical motion, weight, balance, and form highly desired
  • Most desired 2-year diploma or 1-year certificate, however, minimal requirement of 2-3 years of experience
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $26.44 to $36.32/hr for an Associate position and $53.80/hr for an Intermediate position, as well as benefits including healthcare, tuition reimbursement, RRSP's, Sick and Vacation leave, and standard increases as applicable.

Please note that you must be able to provide a demo reel that illustrates your relevant artistic and technical experience that also includes the nuances for this specific role.
