As a Security Officer, your primary responsibility will be to conduct proactive patrols throughout the designated area. You will be responsible for identifying and addressing potential security risks, responding to incidents promptly and effectively, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular foot patrols to monitor premises and deter criminal activity
  • Respond swiftly and professionally to security alarms, emergencies, and reported incidents
  • Maintain clear and concise communication with colleagues and relevant personnel using radio systems and computer databases
  • Collaborate with staff members to ensure a safe and secure environment for all
  • Prepare detailed reports documenting incidents, observations, and actions taken
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a security role
  • Valid Ontario Security License
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
