Job Title: Distribution Supervisor

At Sleep Country Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distribution Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our distribution center, ensuring that our products are delivered to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our distribution center team, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity within the distribution center.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring that we have the right products in the right quantities at the right time.
  • Coordinate with our logistics team to ensure that our products are delivered to our customers on time and in good condition.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with our operations team to ensure that our distribution center is running smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary degree or certificate in logistics or supply chain management an asset.
