Mechanical Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team at Cameron in Clairmont, Alberta. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for providing repair and testing of various equipment to improve efficiency and asset utilization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and close-out maintenance work orders.
  • Perform maintenance scheduling and equipment initial maintenance evaluation.
  • Reconcile post-job resources and dispose of equipment.
  • Work independently under minimal supervision on customer equipment.
  • Perform dismantle, inspection, assembly, and testing of various types of valve assemblies.
  • Support a continuous improvement culture and participate in training programs and initiatives.
  • Actively engage in a safe work environment and participate in a HSE culture.
  • Implement reliability practices and perform daily inspections of equipment.
  • Utilize maintenance business systems to reach full cost, time, and equipment traceability for maintenance performance.

Requirements

  • High school certification and 2-year similar or relevant experience.
  • Preference of working in an industrial/manufacturing center.
  • Mechanical experience preferred.
  • Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in Canada, without sponsorship.
