At Engineering For Kids, we nurture the innate curiosity of children aged 4 to 14 by introducing them to the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Our programs include afterschool activities, evening classes, camps, birthday celebrations, and special events that provide engaging engineering challenges tailored for young minds.
Job Summary:Are you passionate about making learning enjoyable? Do you have the ability to inspire future engineers? Join us for a rewarding experience with our paid training program and engaging STEM curriculum. We are in search of a dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team.
Responsibilities:- Organize and manage materials for classes
- Assist the Lead Teacher in preparing for programs
- Encourage student participation by facilitating warm-up activities and providing individual support
- Deliver high-quality instruction during Engineering For Kids programs
- Ensure the smooth operation of classes by monitoring student assessments, managing supplies, and aiding in demonstrations
- Tailor instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students
- Continuously seek to enhance teaching methods through self-reflection and feedback
- Take initiative in pursuing additional training and educational opportunities within Engineering For Kids
- Support Engineering For Kids classes with professionalism
- Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor towards students, parents, and colleagues
- Adhere to the policies of the franchise, including safety protocols and dress standards
