About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Development Specialist to join our team at Little Bubbles Child Care. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers with care and attention to their individual needs.
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, ensuring a well-rounded and engaging experience.
  • Engage children in storytelling and other activities that foster their creativity and imagination.
  • Collaborate with early childhood educators to design and implement programs that meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and organized environment, including ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Support early childhood educators in record-keeping and submitting written observations on children.
  • Guide children in developing healthy habits, such as eating, dressing, and using the toilet.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods, ensuring a smooth and efficient daily routine.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a child-care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English.
