About Us:
Happy Humans R Us is a prominent professional services organization dedicated to delivering exceptional accounting, assurance, taxation, insolvency, and advisory solutions. Our clientele encompasses a diverse array of sectors, including private, public, family-owned, and non-profit entities.
Role Responsibilities:
As a vital member of our Canadian Tax Group, you will:
- Collaborate closely with clients and senior partners to deliver comprehensive tax planning and compliance services.
- Leverage your expertise to address a wide range of tax-related issues for our diverse client base.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in public practice tax.
- Completion of the In-Depth Tax Program and CPA In-Depth Tax course.
- Strong analytical abilities to identify, research, and resolve complex tax issues.
- Experience with cross-border tax compliance, including foreign reporting requirements.
- A solid understanding of the Canada-US Tax Treaty.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with clients of varying technical expertise.
Work Environment:
This position is primarily based in our head office, with potential for a hybrid work schedule following the probationary period.
Reporting Structure:
You will report directly to the Tax Partner, contributing to a collaborative team environment focused on client relationships and professional growth.
