About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Broker to join our team at Acera Insurance. As a key member of our Commercial Lines team, you will be responsible for marketing and selling a variety of commercial insurance products to clients across the Interior BC region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and underwriters to ensure seamless renewal and new business processes
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on risk management and insurance solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends to ensure the highest level of service and expertise
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of policy documentation
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, preferably in a marketing or broking role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and underwriters
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex risk scenarios and develop effective solutions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EPIC, with experience with Policy Works an asset
